• Email address — provided when you access the free kit or create an account. Used to deliver your kit, send purchased documents, and communicate about your account.

• Payment information — if you make a purchase, payment information is collected and processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). Court Prep Tools does not store your full credit card information.
• Usage data — including which pages you visit and how you interact with the Platform. This is used to improve the service and is not linked to your personal identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate and deliver your Court Day Survival Kit and any purchased documents.
• Process payments and manage your account.
• Send transactional emails related to your use of the Platform (document delivery, receipts, account updates).
• Improve the Platform's content, tools, and user experience.
• Respond to your questions or support requests.

We do not use your case information to provide legal advice, evaluate your legal situation, or make legal recommendations.

3. How We Do Not Use Your Information

We do not:

• Share your case details or personal information with advertisers.
• Use your information to build advertising profiles.
• Share your email with third-party marketing services without your consent.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your case inputs are used to generate your documents and kit. We retain this information to allow you to access your account and documents. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may have access to limited user data in order to operate:

• Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of payment information.
• Netlify — for website hosting and backend function processing.
• Anthropic — to power the AI-assisted document generation features. Your case inputs may be sent to the Anthropic API to generate your kit and documents. Anthropic's privacy policy governs the handling of this data.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Court Prep Tools may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain session state and improve user experience. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Opt out of non-transactional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
