1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Court Prep Tools ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. Your use of the Platform — including generating documents, accessing educational content, or making any purchase — constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. Not Legal Advice — No Attorney-Client Relationship

Court Prep Tools is a document preparation and self-help education platform. We are not attorneys and we do not provide legal advice. Specifically:

• Nothing on this Platform constitutes legal advice of any kind.
• No attorney-client relationship is created by your use of this Platform.
• We do not review your situation for legal merit, recommend legal strategies, or tell you what to argue in court.
• Documents generated by this Platform are formatted based on the information you provide. We organize and format your information — we do not evaluate it legally.
• You are solely responsible for any documents you submit to a court, any statements you make in legal proceedings, and any decisions you make based on information obtained from this Platform.

If you have a complex legal situation, we strongly encourage you to consult a licensed attorney in your state.

3. Not a Law Firm

Court Prep Tools is not a law firm. It is not owned, operated, or supervised by attorneys. No attorney reviews content generated by this Platform before it is delivered to you. The Platform is operated by Initiate Influence LLC as a document preparation and educational self-help service.

4. Laws Vary by State

Laws governing eviction, debt collection, small claims court, security deposits, and related matters vary significantly from state to state and are subject to change. Information provided by this Platform is general in nature and may not reflect the specific laws, deadlines, or procedures applicable in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for verifying all legal requirements with your local court or a licensed attorney in your state.

5. User Responsibility for Documents

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of the information you provide to the Platform.
• Reviewing all generated documents before use.
• Ensuring documents meet the requirements of your specific court.
• Filing documents on time and in the correct manner.
• Any consequences resulting from documents you file or submit.

Court Prep Tools makes no guarantee that generated documents will be accepted by any court or that their use will result in a favorable outcome.

6. Payments and Refunds

Payments for single documents ($27) and monthly subscriptions ($47/month) are processed securely through our payment processor. Single document purchases are non-refundable once the document has been generated and delivered. Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice.

7. Upgrade Offer

After purchasing a single document, users may be eligible to upgrade to full access for a discounted price within 72 hours of their purchase. This offer is available for a limited time and is subject to change. The upgrade price credits toward your first month of full access.

8. Data Use

By providing your email address and case information, you consent to our collection and use of that information as described in our Privacy Policy. Your email may be used to send your kit, deliver purchased documents, and communicate about your account. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform — including text, design, templates, and software — is the property of Initiate Influence LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use generated documents for your personal legal preparation only. You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute Platform content without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Court Prep Tools and Initiate Influence LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this Platform, including but not limited to: adverse court outcomes, missed deadlines, errors in generated documents, or reliance on information provided by the Platform.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

This Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the information provided will be accurate, complete, or current. Use of this Platform is at your own risk.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will post the updated date at the top of this page when changes are made.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles.
